Chris Gammon BA (Hons), MMus
HI, I’m Chris!
I currently run a successful Music Department at a local secondary school. I’m a keen musician who after graduating from Leeds University went on to study for a Masters in Music before training to teach. I have a wide interest in music ranging from early classical (with particular specialism in the Baroque) to modern day popular styles. I am also a keen instrumentalist who plays Piano, Flute, Ukulele and Mandolin amongst other instruments.
Music means everything to me, not only is it my job but it’s also my passion and hobby. I lead the Raunds Ukulele Orchestra, I’m the Assistant Musical Director of Raunds community choir and privately teach ukulele, as well as running workshops for the instrument in the local community both nearby and further afield. I have a real passion for singing and bringing people together through voice and song, as shown by the vitality and enthusiasm of this group. I love to see people having fun and enjoying themselves as well as helping them to overcome musical difficulties they have, then help celebrate their success.
